
This Society represents a shift away from an acquiring/conquering, human
centered philosophy back to a 'God' centered philosophy.![]()
The difference is this was a single 'God' and a 'God' not separate to the human condition.
It included a rational as to why humans needed to act according to a set of laws, not just for social justice but to fulfill a human responsibility to the 'God' within
This was a major shift in thinking, building on the philosophies and examples of past societies to bring these together in a working blueprint for the creation of a more stable social order.
As the Greek society strove for perfection in all aspects of their society this new direction added the desire to perfect the 'inner' self as having more importance than the 'outer self'.
This new philosophy, in light of the corruption of the Roman experiment, gained recognition and acceptance as a superior way of thinking and acting.
