The Egyptian society employed a large slave force that was obtained through the conquering of neighboring societies.

The Egyptian society was stable enough to sustain the various outside influences and attacks for several thousands of years and so had the time and circumstances to developed the cultural and knowledge and workforce  base to create the pyramids.

The Egyptians created buildings of unprecedented scale, for the glory of the 'Gods' and the Pharaoh.

Of all the civilizations the Egyptian society created the largest temples, burial sites a huge dimensions, buildings built to last a thousand years.

They had the knowledge, a slave workforce, materials from the immediate area and through the neighboring lands, and a sense of history that made such immense projects make sense.

Art was massive, functional, clean lines, stylized imagery, deeply symbolic. They had a high level of craftsmanship.
